Среда,  15  Октябрь  2025

Doctors from the National Center for Neurosurgery are conducting consultations and surgeries at the Bukhara branch of the Oncology Center, Uzbekistan.

Our specialists provide care for patients with functional disorders, as well as spinal and spinal cord pathologies. Among those seen are patients with Parkinson’s disease, movement disorders, essential tremor, and degenerative spinal diseases. In total, more than 40 patients were examined.

Neurologist Dr. Aidarov Seitjan conducted consultations for patients with Parkinson’s disease and essential tremor, adjusting their medication regimens, which helped improve their well-being and quality of life.

Neurosurgeon Dr. Viktor Aleynikov performed two surgeries on patients diagnosed with degenerative lumbar spinal stenosis and disc herniations at levels L1–L5.

The procedures included decompressive laminectomy with transpedicular fixation at levels L2–L4. Following the interventions, patients reported significant relief, pain was alleviated, and their condition remains stable.

Colleagues from Uzbekistan noted that movement-related disorders such as Parkinson’s disease and essential tremor are highly relevant and require particular attention from specialists.

Today, a video conference is planned with the Central Oncology Institute of Uzbekistan to discuss clinical cases and new treatment approaches.

The Days of Kazakh Medicine in Uzbekistan represent not only an exchange of experience but also concrete steps toward strengthening collaboration.
