Dr. Alibek Zharasov – pediatric neurosurgeon in the Department of Pediatric Neurosurgery. He has 20 years of practical experience. In 2001, he graduated from the West Kazakhstan State Medical Academy named after M. Ospanov with a degree in general medicine and qualification as a general practitioner. He trained in leading clinics in Israel, Russia, Germany, and Kazakhstan. Main areas of practice: Brain tumors, hydrocephalus, brain cysts Cerebral aneurysms and arteriovenous malformations of the brain and spinal cord Craniosynostosis and traumatic brain injuries Pediatric spine surgery, including treatment of spinal cord tumors, congenital malformations (Chiari malformations, diastematomyelia, syringomyelia) All surgeries involving critical neural structures are performed with intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring to prevent nerve damage.
