Academician Serik Akshulakov became a laureate of the National Prize of Christopher Ledentsov

CEO of JSC "National Centre for Neurosurgery", Academician Serik Akshulakov became a laureate of the National Prize of Christopher Ledentsov for "Introduction of new areas of neurosurgery and methods of surgical treatment."

    The solemn award ceremony took place on December 24, 2021 in Russia, in Moscow. The national Christopher Ledentsov Prize is aimed at supporting and developing scientific and technological potential, as well as encouraging charitable and investment activities in the field of promoting science, technology and their practical application for the benefit of society. The prize was awarded to 6 laureates in the areas of science and innovation.

    The award is dedicated to the celebration of the 180th anniversary of the birth of the hero of Russian science, the great Russian philanthropist, economist, public figure and founder of the Society for Promoting the Advances of Experimental Sciences and Their Practical Applications, a native of Vologda Christopher Ledentsov.

      This award was supported by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, the State Duma of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, the Government of the Vologda Region, the Administration of the city of Vologda.
