The official opening of the III Asian Neurosurgical Nursing Congress

Today, September 10, 2014 was the official opening ceremony of the III Asian Neurosurgical Nursing Congress as part of the X Asian Congress of Neurological Surgeons. Nurses from leading neurosurgical clinics of Malaysia, Turkey, Israel and Nigeria came to the Congress to exchange experiences and discuss the issues of neurosurgical patients’ care and treatment. The President of the III Asian Neurosurgical Nursing Congress Altyn Zhumabayeva welcomed participants with the opening speech. In his speech the President noted that the mission of nurses is to create an effective system for providing neurosurgical nursing care in accordance with the  international standards. To date, Asian Neurosurgical Nursing Congress is a platform for the exchange of knowledge and information for neurosurgical nurses, which in turn leads to an improvement of nursing care in neurosurgery in many countries of Asia and the world.
