The master-class on "Functional neurosurgery" will be held Republican Research Center for Neurosurgery on 25-29 November 2013. Master-class will be conducted by neurosurgeon recognized by the international community in the field of functional neurosurgery Feridun Acar, PhD, Associate Professor, Head of functional neurosurgery, Pamukkale University, Turkey. Feridun Acar has extensive experience in neurosurgery, in particular in the field of surgical treatment of movement disorders. The main thrust of the workshop is the pre-surgical diagnosis and assessment of drug-resistant forms of epilepsy, the possibility of surgical treatment of movement disorders and selection of patients for deep brain stimulation. During the seminar, the discussion of patients, workshops, master-class of operations with implantation of deep electrodes and stimulants will be held.
