Mentors from Russia conduct educational courses for Kazakhstan doctors

Mentors from Russia are conducting the educational courses for Kazakhstan doctors, as reported the press service of JSC "National Centre for Neurosurgery" of the National Medical Holding. "We continue to work on attracting foreign experts for the development of major clinical areas in the hospital. Mentoring is rendered by leading professors from Russia, Austria, Switzerland, the USA, Lithuania, Turkey and other countries on high-priority areas of medicine. Invited mentors have extensive experience in the training of doctors, nurses, enjoy a well-deserved reputation in medical circles" is said in a statement. "From 12 to 25 August 2013 MD, Professor Vera Kiryanova is providing the mentoring services. She is the Head of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation. Mechnikov Institute, Head of the Research Laboratory of high laser and magnetic technologies, chief physiotherapist of the Committee on Public Health Administration, St. Petersburg, President of the St. Petersburg Association of physiotherapy, Chief editor of "Non-drug physiotherapy”. The topic of the training course is "Physical therapy in the treatment and rehabilitation of patients in neurosurgery". From 19 to 23 August, 2013 Dr. Victor Chadaev, MD, PhD, assistant professor of neurology and epileptology, Russian State Medical University has rendered the mentorship. In addition Dr. V. Chadaev is the Head of the Laboratory and pre-surgical diagnosis of epilepsy, St. Luke Institute of Pediatric Neurology and Epilepsy, which uses the latest high-tech methods of magnetoencephalography, magnetic resonance imaging, methodology of precision examine of patients. Mentor conducted the training of our specialists on the topic "Pre-surgical diagnosis and selection of patients for surgical treatment of drug-resistant forms of epilepsy" said the Republican Research Center for Neurosurgery. Training of Kazakhstan doctors within the framework of the project on "mentoring" in JSC "Republican Research Center for Neurosurgery" is held for the second year. Thus, in 2012, 10 foreign mentors visited the clinic. By the end of this year the total number of involved medical mentors will be 14 people. Development of the mentoring institute as in «RRCN» JSC and other affiliated hospitals of "National Medical Holding" JSC will be held at the expense of the national budget on public order of the Ministry of Health of the RK in the execution of the State Program "Salamatty Kazakhstan."
