Republican Research Center for Neurosurgery celebrates its 5 years anniversary

As part of the 5th anniversary the Republican Research Center for Neurosurgery held demonstrative brain surgery and free consultations of neurologists and neurosurgeons. "July 1 of this year the Republican Research Center for Neurosurgery celebrates its 5 years anniversary. Jubilee has become a reason for demonstration operations and free consultations of neurosurgeons and neurologists of the Center ", is said in a statement. "Thanks to the live broadcast from the operating theater young neurosurgeons, residents, course participants will be able to see a unique surgery to remove a brain tumor. Also on this day in the Center will be held an open day in which everyone will be able to pass a free consultation of neurosurgeons and neurologists as well as diagnostic tests"- said the Republican Research Center for Neurosurgery. Every year the Center performs over 2300 operations in patients with the most complex pathology of the nervous system, and this number is increasing every year. About 4 thousands of patients each year are benefiting from advanced neurosurgical care in the Center. Over 5 years in the walls of the Center 18,000 patients were treated, performed more than 10,000 operations, introduced 36 new neurosurgical technologies. Today it is the only specialized clinic in Kazakhstan, providing a full range of neurosurgical services - from diagnosis to early rehabilitation of patients.
