The Department of Pediatric Neurosurgery organized a conference for nursing specialists

Today, November 17, the Department of Pediatric Neurosurgery of JSC National Center for Neurosurgery organized a conference for nursing specialists. The topic of the conference was devoted to current issues of working with suicidal adolescent patients.

Several experts took direct part in the conference. Thus, a pediatrician at the Department of Pediatric Neurosurgery, Dr. Aizat Isaeva, shared with the audience information about physiological changes during puberty that affect the psycho-emotional state of children. She informed how children mature, what physiological abnormalities there can be and their causes.

Also during the conference, psychologist Lyazzat Tashbaeva shared her professional experience in psychological support for patients of the Department of Pediatric Neurosurgery and their parents. Cases from clinical cases in psychological rehabilitation and social adaptation of patients were analyzed.

Nurse of the Department of Pediatric Neurosurgery, Evgenia Bolycheva, noted the relevance of suicide in the modern world among adolescent children. She dwelled on how specialists can deal with this, what should pay attention to, what kind of care and psychological support is provided by the medical staff to the patients of the Department during the period of inpatient treatment.

Director of Nursing at NCN JSC Altyn Zhumabaeva noted the importance of holding such events, which contribute not only to the provision of high-quality medical care, but also to the interaction of parents with children, as well as the interaction of children with the environment to build healthy relationships and adapt to new living conditions.

The closing speech was made by the head of the Quality Control and Risk Management Department, Fayzula Bismildin, who highly appreciated the level of knowledge of the medical workers of the Department and noted the excellent organization of the conference.
