The Minister of health and social development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Tamara Duysenova has visited JSC National Center of Neurosurgery

The chairman of the board of JSC National Center of Neurosurgery Serik Akshulakov has made the report, having told about results of activity of the center. In eight years doctors of the center have performed more than 17 thousand operations, have implemented more than 60 new neurosurgical technologies. For these years doctors of the center have put on feet of the heaviest patients, including children. Modern equipment: tomographs, devices ultrasonography, X-ray with which the center is equipped, allow to diagnose disturbances at the earliest stages. Use of powerful operative microscopes, modern neuronavigation instruments, neuroendoscopes, neuromonitoring, stereotaxic system allows to carry out effective neurosurgical treatment and to avoid possible complications during operations. During visit the minister has visited the neurosurgical training center, angiographic operational, department of hospital pharmacy. The Simulyatsionny center has been created for carrying out the training courses on simulators. Opening of this center important not only for the center, but also for all regional neurosurgery as gives the chance to each doctor to develop the medical skills. Further Tamara Duysenova has visited in angiographic the operational, equipped with the powerful angiograph Siemens firm, intended for performance of minimum invasive intravascular interventions, diagnosis and treatments of pathology of vessels of brain and other diseases of the central nervous system. Tamara Duysenova and has visited department of hospital pharmacy – know-how of the center, the breakthrough project in the innovation management of medicines. JSC NCN one of the first clinics in the former Soviet Union where the department of hospital pharmacy is open. The minister has suggested doctors to acquaint with this experience of service of colleagues from other clinics of the country. Following the results of visit, the Minister of health and social development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Tamara Duysenova has highly estimated the level of work of the center and has wished collective great labor success.
