Doctors of the National Center for Neurosurgery took part in the 19th World Congress of Neurosurgery and presented to the international community the practical results of their work, modern approaches to the treatment of complex brain and spinal disorders, as well as innovations implemented in the Center’s clinical practice.Among the key achievements highlighted was the use of technologies introduced by the Center for the first time in the CIS and Central Asia, including 3D endoscopic transnasal surgery, which has marked a new stage in the development of minimally invasive neurosurgery.
Participation in the 19th World Congress of Neurosurgery (WFNS 2025) provided an important opportunity to showcase many years of clinical experience, exchange knowledge with leading global experts, and strengthen international cooperation.
Delegation of the National Center for Neurosurgery:
Prof. Talgat Kerimbayev — Head of the Department of Spinal Neurosurgery and Peripheral Nerve Pathology; Doctor of Medical Sciences, laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Kazakhstan, founder of modern spinal neurosurgery in Kazakhstan.
Dr. Daniyar Teltayev — Head of the Department for Organizational and Methodological Work with Regions, neurosurgeon, Associate Professor, Candidate of Medical Sciences.
Dr. Chingiz Nurimanov — Neurosurgeon of the Department of Vascular and Functional Neurosurgery, PhD.
Dr. Iroda Mammadova — Neurosurgeon of the Department of Vascular and Functional Neurosurgery.
Dr. Zhandos Tuygynov — Neurosurgeon of the Department of Spinal Neurosurgery and Peripheral Nerve Pathology.
About the Congress
The 19th World Congress of Neurosurgery (WFNS 2025) is being held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, bringing together more than 1,800 participants from 130 countries. The forum is dedicated to the theme “Shaping the Future of Neurosurgery” and serves as one of the world’s largest platforms for sharing expertise and showcasing advanced technologies.
