Visit of Professor Kaoru Kurisu, a renowned Japanese neurosurgeon, M.D., Ph.D. from Hiroshima University

Professor Kaoru Kurisu, a renowned Japanese neurosurgeon, M.D., Ph.D. from Hiroshima University, visited the National Center for Neurosurgery. Professor Kurisu has extensive international experience in complex neurosurgical procedures, including the treatment of brain tumors and vascular disorders, as well as in research aimed at improving diagnosis and the restoration of central nervous system functions.

The guest was welcomed by Professor Serik Akshulakov, Chairman of the Board of the National Center for Neurosurgery, who conducted a tour of the clinic. Professor Kurisu reviewed the work of the clinical departments, operating rooms, the Gamma Knife unit, and other advanced technologies at the Center.

During the meeting, both parties discussed prospects for collaborative research and the implementation of modern CNS tumor treatment methods, as well as the exchange of experience and new technologies in global neurosurgery.
