Neurosurgeons at the Ak Orda Presidential Palace

Participants of the 10th World Congress of the Walter Edward Dandy Neurosurgical Society were received at the Ak Orda Presidential Palace, where they were welcomed by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

The President noted that hosting the forum in Astana is “a testament to the high recognition of the achievements of Kazakhstan’s neurosurgery” and expressed confidence that the congress would make an important contribution to the development of international cooperation, facilitating the exchange of advanced experience and technologies.

The participants expressed their readiness for cooperation, including in the training of specialists and the exchange of medical technologies.

In conclusion, the President thanked the guests for the productive discussion and instructed the Ministry of Health to more actively implement advanced technologies. He also поручил to consider proposals from the Head of the National Center for Neurosurgery, Serik Akshulakov, regarding intergovernmental agreements with neighboring countries to provide treatment for their citizens in Kazakhstan.
