A herniated disc is a deformation of the fibrous ring of the intervertebral disc, in which a rupture is formed, through which, due to the pressure exerted, a small part of the gelatinous nucleus protrudes. Most often, this disease is diagnosed in people from 25 to 45 years old and very rarely in childhood. A herniated disc is a rather dangerous and complex disease of the musculoskeletal system, which is one of the most common and severe manifestations of osteochondrosis, which can lead to temporary loss of ability to work and even disability.
