Intensive care unit
The intensive care unit includes a neuroreanimation department with 18 beds, 6 of which are intended for emergency situations, equipped with modern equipment from leading global manufacturers with neuromonitoring systems, neurological status assessment and computer monitoring of all vital functions of the body.
Our department is equipped with the most modern equipment:
- Hemodynamic monitoring (measurement of invasive blood pressure, heart rate, ECG, blood saturation (SpO2),
- Central monitoring station for 12 bedside monitors CNS-9701K Nihon Kohden, Japan);
- Fiberoptic bronchoscopy, a set for difficult tracheal intubation (Karl Storz, Germany);
- Monitoring of intracranial pressure, cerebral perfusion pressure and craniospinal compliance (Spiegelberg);
- Hyperbarotherapy (Bara-Med, BioMedical Systems Group, USA);
- HBO;
- Infusion-corrective therapy;
- Nutritional support;
- Cerebral oximetry (Somanetics, Invos 5100, USA);
- Respiratory therapy for respiratory failure in patients in the postoperative period;
- Catheterization of the superior bulb of the internal jugular vein and determination of blood gases, electrolytes, lactate and glucose in the venous blood flowing from the brain;
- Transcranial Doppler sonography;
- Patient-controlled analgesia (PCA);
- Disposable bacteriovirus breathing filter-thermovent;
- Laryngeal mask.
This allows us to ensure a high level of quality of anesthesia and intensive care that meets international standards. The department's staff is represented by highly qualified professionals with sufficient experience in the treatment of critical conditions. The department has 14 highly qualified doctors, specialists in the treatment of patients of different ages and severity. Experienced and caring nurses, careful orderlies will provide our patients with care, which will make their stay in the department as comfortable as possible. The OARIC staff, trained in clinics in neighboring and distant countries, perform various methods of anesthesia (low-flow inhalation anesthesia with sevoflurane and isoflurane, regional, conduction, total intravenous anesthesia) for children and adults with various neurosurgical pathologies, respiratory therapy and rehabilitation are carried out in case of respiratory dysfunction in patients in the postoperative period
